Tiramisu
Ingredients:
200 g ladyfinger biscuits (savoiardi)
1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled)
2 tbsp sugar
250 g mascarpone cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions:
Prepare coffee: Brew strong coffee and let it cool. Mix in sugar.
Make cream mixture: In a bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form. Gently fold in mascarpone cheese until smooth.
Dip biscuits: Quickly dip ladyfingers in coffee (do not soak).
Layer: Arrange a layer of dipped biscuits in a dish. Spread half of the cream mixture over them.
Repeat layers: Add another layer of dipped biscuits and the remaining cream.
Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight).
Finish: Dust cocoa powder on top before serving.
Preparation time: ~20 minutes (+ chilling time)
Serves: 4–6 people
