Tiramisu

Ingredients:

  • 200 g ladyfinger biscuits (savoiardi)

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled)

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 250 g mascarpone cheese

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare coffee: Brew strong coffee and let it cool. Mix in sugar.

  2. Make cream mixture: In a bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form. Gently fold in mascarpone cheese until smooth.

  3. Dip biscuits: Quickly dip ladyfingers in coffee (do not soak).

  4. Layer: Arrange a layer of dipped biscuits in a dish. Spread half of the cream mixture over them.

  5. Repeat layers: Add another layer of dipped biscuits and the remaining cream.

  6. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight).

  7. Finish: Dust cocoa powder on top before serving.

Preparation time: ~20 minutes (+ chilling time)
Serves: 4–6 people
