Chicken Parmesan
Ingredients:
2 boneless chicken breasts
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg (beaten)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup tomato or marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Cooked spaghetti (for serving)
Fresh basil (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare chicken: Slice chicken breasts in half to make thin pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
Coat chicken: Dip each piece in flour, then egg, then a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan.
Fry chicken: Heat olive oil in a pan. Cook chicken on medium heat until golden and cooked through.
Add sauce and cheese: Place fried chicken in a baking dish. Spoon tomato sauce over it and top with mozzarella.
Bake: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake for 10–15 minutes until cheese melts.
Serve: Place chicken over cooked spaghetti, garnish with basil, and serve hot.
